What to know before implementation
Is UnhostCampus a bank?
No. UnhostCampus is database software and APIs only. Fiat still goes through the school’s existing partners. We store internal balances and event logs — we are not a financial institution.
Does implementation require new hardware?
The platform is meant to work with most existing chip terminals and ID cards, which limits hardware spend. We review compatibility before go-live.
