The Identity Engine manages the entire evolutionary path of a student within the institution. From the moment an applicant is accepted to their transition into the alumni network, the system maintains a single, verifiable source of truth. Every status change is logged to the ledger with a timestamp and an actor reference.
Multi-factor identity verification is built into the core data layer, not bolted on as an afterthought. The engine integrates with biometric scanners and card-based hardware commonly found in modern educational environments, handling the handshake, the challenge, and the audit trail in one atomic transaction.
Physical Access Integration
Identification only matters if it enables access. The infrastructure engine provides the logic that connects student IDs to physical entry points across campus. Define access schedules, restricted zones, and temporary permissions that are enforced in real time.

Any associated insurance or deposit fees are recorded in the ledger at the same moment, in the same transaction. The physical act of handing over equipment and the financial record of that handover are never separated. If the asset is damaged, returned late, or reported missing, every related ledger entry updates atomically.
Inventory Audit and Reconciliation

Notification Layer
The Infrastructure Engine includes a built-in notification layer for identity and asset events. If a student ID is used at an unauthorized time or an asset is not returned by its due date, the system automatically triggers alerts.
Alerts route to administrators via webhooks, allowing immediate intervention without manually monitoring logs. Configure escalation rules so that a missed first alert automatically widens the recipient list.
Custom Schema for Specialized Assets
Every school has equipment that does not fit standard categories. The engine allows custom metadata fields to be added to asset records without modifying the core database schema.
